SCAN — Live trades & traders

Two views over the live order flow on the on-chain exchange. Browse the trade tape across all markets, or follow active traders by performance.

SCAN is reached from the SCAN entry in the top navigation. The page has two tabs.

The active tab is remembered for the duration of your browser session.

MARKETS​

A live, streamed feed of trades that pass the size threshold you choose.

What each row shows​

  • Coin (ticker + icon)
  • Side — BUY or SELL
  • Price at execution
  • Notional in USD, with a comparison bar that scales against the largest recent trade
  • Market type — Spot or Perp
  • Buyer / Seller addresses (shortened)
  • Time of execution (HH:MM:SS)

Filtering​

  • Search by coin (for example BTC, ETH).
  • Size threshold — ALL, $10K+, $50K+, $100K+, or a custom value entered through the ··· popover.
  • The counter above the feed shows the visible count, and the total when the visible list is capped.

Acting on a row​

  • Click the row body to open the symbol detail page for that market.
  • Click the buyer or seller address to open that trader in the TRADERS tab. The trader's detail view is activated automatically.

Refresh​

The refresh control in the page header clears the buffer and waits for the next trade. The market feed streams in real time, so refreshing is a "reset the view" action rather than a re-fetch.

Empty and waiting states​

  • Connecting to live trades… — shown while the feed is initializing.
  • Cleared — waiting for next trade… — shown right after you tap refresh.
  • Waiting for trades above $X… — shown when your size threshold is filtering everything out for the moment.

Vibe Flow​

The Live trades button in the MARKETS header opens VIBE FLOW, a symbol-level footprint view. For each active symbol you see:

  • a stacked bar of buy versus sell notional,
  • a footprint strip that plots each trade by side and size over time,
  • a synchronized cursor across strips, with a tooltip that surfaces side, coin, notional, buyer→seller, and time on hover,
  • a tier filter that mirrors the MARKETS threshold (ALL, $10K+, $50K+, $100K+, or custom).

Symbols are ordered by total notional in the current window and reorder as new trades arrive.

TRADERS​

A curated card view of traders currently active on the exchange. Cards are pulled from recent large trades and ranked according to the sort you choose.

What each card shows​

  • Address (shortened)
  • Perp — account value, unrealized PnL, PnL %
  • Spot — USD-equivalent balance and per-coin holdings

Filtering and sorting​

  • Search by address (0x…). A full address is matched exactly; a partial value filters the active pool by address substring.
  • Sort with the radio buttons: All (combined score), PnL (unrealized PnL), or Whale (account value).
  • Bookmark mode — toggle the ★ button in the header to favorite traders. With bookmark mode on, tapping a card adds it to your favorites; tapping again removes it. Switch bookmark mode off and use the same ★ filter to view only favorites.

Opening a trader​

  • Tap a card to add the trader to your active set. The trader's detail view appears alongside the cards, and the same tap toggles it off.
  • The selected set is independent from your favorites: favorites are saved in your browser, while active selection is for the current browsing context.

Refresh​

The refresh control in the header re-fetches metrics for the visible trader cards. Cards rotate as new traders cross the activity threshold.

Empty and waiting states​

  • Connecting to live trades… — shown while the live feed is initializing.
  • Loading active traders… — shown while metrics are being fetched for the current pool.
  • No active traders yet — shown while the page waits for trades above the threshold. You can also enter a specific address (0x…) in the search field to pin a trader you care about.
  • No favorite traders yet — shown when the ★ filter is on but no favorites are in the active pool.
  • No matching traders — shown when your search term doesn't match any trader in the current pool.

Tips​

Pace and stability

The refresh icon spins briefly when the connection paces requests upstream. The view stays usable; it's a signal that fresh metrics will land momentarily.

  • Use a higher size threshold ($50K+, $100K+) to cut the feed down to flow that is likely to move price.
  • Pin notable wallets with the ★ toggle to keep them visible across visits, even when they drop out of the active pool.
  • Tap a row's buyer or seller in MARKETS to bring that address into TRADERS without copying the address by hand.
